Goldsoft's solutions has their roots in the late 80's when it was developed using a 4th GL language which was the most powerful programming paradigm at that time. While it enjoyed a roaring success in the early 90's, the business environment once again changed towards the mid 90's.

This necessitated the redevelopment of the product to a database and development platform that is more stable and powerful as well as being inherently scalable.
